Chad’s northern border with Libya adds to its strategic importance, especially as the country continues to grapple with the fallout from Libya’s collapse after the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi. As a result, Chad has become a focal point for global powers seeking influence, including newer players like China, Turkey, Britain, and Russia, who are vying for presence in the realms of trade, security, and diplomacy. Given that youth make up nearly 70% of Chad’s population, it is crucial to understand how they perceive this growing international presence.
